New Born Rubber was founded in 2021 by four investors. In collaboration with the University of Groningen they started a pilot plant to bring the idea for reclaiming rubber in practise. In the meantime, a lot of knowledge about the reclaiming process is obtained and New Born Rubber has specialized itself in bringing the clinical research and recycling rubber together.
A short impression of the innovation of New Born Rubber.
80% of galvanised Dutch rubber waste is incinerated in ovens. This is because it is really hard to recycle. We have found the recipe to process the many different types of rubber waste with just as many properties. Now we can recycle them.
Our laboratory consists of a variety of technology needed for testing and processing a huge range of rubber types. For testing of the reclaimed rubber we use a state of the art rheometer: Rubber Process Analyzer “RPA” Elite. This allows us to dive deep in the rubber and determine a vast amount of mechanical properties of the reclaimed rubber.
The knowledge we gain from the RPA unlocks the ability to alternate the rubber properties to the need of the customer, so the reclaimed material can be mixed in to the customers process easier than ever before.
Are you interested in sustainability for your company, and are looking for suitable and revolutionary ways for recycling and re-use your rubber waste streams, then partner with us.
New Born Rubber is in an interesting stage at present. We are open to partnerships, while we are scaling up from pilot plant to a full working recycling factory.
